Almost nothing, and never before you agree

This site carries no advertising network, no social plug-in and no cross-site tracker. Nothing that is not strictly necessary is loaded until you have actively agreed, and your decision is remembered so that we do not ask again unnecessarily.

Where we can, we avoid cookies altogether and keep a preference in your browser's local storage instead — it is never transmitted to a third party.

Strictly necessary items

These keep the site secure and functional and require no consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, because the site cannot be delivered safely without them.

Always active

lovisum:consent: Local storage. Remembers your cookie decision, its version and its timestamp, so that we honour and can evidence it. Kept until you clear it or change your choice.
Security & delivery: Short-lived technical entries set by our infrastructure to protect against abuse and to route requests correctly. No profile is built and no advertising identifier is created.
Session (if you sign in): Should a private area ever be opened to you, a session entry keeps you signed in. It exists only while you use it.

Analytics — only with your consent

If you agree, we record a deliberately minimal set of events so that we can refine this site: the page path, the name of the event, a timestamp and a random session identifier that disappears when you close the tab. We do not store your IP address, do not follow you across other sites and build no advertising profile.

Consent required

lovisum:events: Local storage. Holds the minimal event list described above. Removed immediately if you withdraw consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent, freely given and revocable at any time.

Marketing — currently unused

The marketing category exists in our preference dialog for transparency, and is switched off. We operate no advertising pixels and no retargeting. Should that ever change, we will ask for your consent beforehand and describe each item here first.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it. Open the preference dialog below or use Cookie preferences in the footer of any page; when you decline, existing analytics data on your device is deleted and any non-essential cookie is cleared. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal your browser may send.

You may additionally block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may prevent parts of this site from working as intended.
